Notte Sento (English subtitles)
found this today
.
"""A girl misses her train to Milan and is set to wait overnight in Rome until dawn. However, a chance encounter with a guy changes her plans and the night lights of the capital turn into the background to a tender love story. An extraordinary chemistry made of knowing glances and small gestures fills the few instants that separate them both from the sunrise.
Short film made with 4500+ still photographs. Shot with a Canon EOS 30D camera.
Funded by the Seagate Creative Fund in 2008.
Italian language with English subtitles."""

more controversy
Is Rihanna Still an Effective Cover Girl Spokeswoman?
"Revlon is reportedly doing a secret survey to try to find out how women are responding to the Cover Girl ads starring Rihanna. The assumption is that women are disenchanted with the singer after her decision to stay with Chris Brown and might not want to buy the products she uses, ahem, to make her easy and breezy."
I came across the above statement from my favorite fashion blog. I don't really see the problem with the situation.
If your make up can change you from this...
...to this, i'll buy it. They could come up with a whole new campaign. Nothing sells more than real life.

dwell...again
It's always cool when two things you are into get together. Dwell magazine is something I have been into lately and Arkitip is a rad site I check a lot. Cool video for sure.

new obsession
I used to (and still do) spend a lot of time looking at art I could never afford or clothes I could never bring myself to buy. These days I can't get enough of looking at homes or design ideas. Most are homes I will never live in or renovations I could never do. I'm not sure what draws me in but it's the newest element to the "look but can't have" collection I have been starting for years.

c.r.e.a.m.
After walking around the art gallery, we got on the trax to go home. After some deliberation we decided this was a woman?... okay we're still not sure. We walked passed her (with her sign and bucket) and then got on the trax together. She was counting her cash in plain sight which made me think, is it okay to steal from bum? Looked like she makes more than I do, and dresses better.

march
It is now March and I find myself, again, wondering where the time has gone. Only one more month of this semester and my family comes down to visit. I have been surprised thus far as to where my life has ended up. I get asked the question "what do you plan on doing" for a variety of times. Sometimes it's school, sometimes work, maybe where we plan on living, what I'm eating for lunch, you get the idea. I am not exactly sure and I hope that's not a bad thing. By not being TOO planned I have ended up here. I have no complaints and am still a little unsure. It doesn't help that I am very adaptable and could move next month and be cool with it. At any rate, I may not be exactly sure on what I am going to do in the future but I am pretty sure on things I will not be doing.
I plan on NOT:
- watching more than one game a year of any sport, except maybe soccer
- wearing baggy jeans ever again. (ages 14-18 were rough)
- eating olives, unless they are on the only option for pizza.
- stop eating pizza whenever I can.
- quitting skateboarding by myself.
- having my own pet.
- watching American Idol
- thinking twice about things I probably should not say.
- Being "that guy" at work
- wearing sandals. (it's been at least 6 years)
- dying my hair ever
- living in the suburbs
- adopting kids from Africa
- going to Africa
- complaining about politics that I don't know about (HUGE American pass time)
- Ever joing another Gym ever
- choosing to drive instead of ride my bike.
- spelling color that way instead of Colour, unless I have to for a paper or something
- spending more than $30 on a T-shirt ever
- admitting I like some of the music I listen too
- ever having to wear slacks with pleats
- boring you with this list any more
