Remember when i was really excited about the Devendra Banhart concert?... I think I blogged about it 3 times. Well, we drove 6 hours from Vegas (pictures tomorrow, maybe) and get back to Salt Lake just in time to make it to the venue and find that the show has been cancled. I guess he broke his leg, here is his little message.
"hey there friends. so your old pal Devendra just broke some bone in his leg skateboarding before the show yesterday. i'm ok thanks but we had to cancel the last few shows of the tour. I am SOOOOOOOOOO sorry to all of you who were planning on seeing me and the Grogs and we will really miss playing for you. i wanted to play the shows anyway like in a bed or something but the dr's didn't think that was a great idea. THANK YOU forever for your support, it means the world to us and again, SORRY to all of you.
love,
devendra and the grogs"
Oh well, maybe next time.

bad news thursday
Looks like this next season of the Hills (season 6, premier on April 29th) will be the last. This is the worst news since hearing that LC was leaving.

good looking movies
I think this happens every year around this time, but maybe not. There are a lot of good movies coming out right nowish. My wife got us some screener tickets for How to train your dragon at the Imax 3-D NBD (that's cool kids talk for "no big deal" fyi) That movie was cool, mainly because it was the first movie i have seen in 3-d, I won't see Avatar, so don't ask. I did not mean to talk about any of those two movies...ooops. I was meaning to talk about these two.
This one is called Breaking Upwards and it seems to be about a couple that is in each others lives and "needs" to branch out.
This one is called Tiny Furniture, and it's something we can all relate too, waking up and feeling useless. Lena Dunham is a good film maker.
Also, if you have not noticed, I am over Youtube lately. Vimeo is more legit. In a very unrelated note, i have had kanye west on heavy rotation...not sure why.."can't tell me nothin'"

I haven't gone bowling for a long time....
I have recently started reading the blog White Lightning. I am not just a fan of it because my bowling name is White Lightning....true story, just ask Baby Duck or The Hammer. This blog is fashionable, stylish and super funny. Chock full of Lady Gaga things, including the very detailed review of her latest video.
my "favourites" tab is getting a little full.

Devendra Bandhart Baby video.
Almost a week away. This video is a good one.... I wouldn't post it if it wasn't...Well that's debatable.

brian anderson epicly laterd
i have been waiting for this episode for a while now. I'm sure other people have been waiting too. Brian Anderson is on of my favourite skaters. Always smooth, personality dope, art awesome, and tattoos badass.
Also stoked to see that there is going to be Five parts.
Also, not sure if anyone has seen this yet. Colt Bowden sketchbook stories. Tales of drawing retarted people in high school, tours with Toy Machine, and being forced to draw bones. It's good stuff, I promise.

Utah Photo Booth Co
My friend Matt has a little Photo Booth company. If you, or someone you know, is having any sort of event that needs an element of awesome. Nothing will make it more awesome than adding a photo booth.

Andrew from Kell on Earth
So, Kell on Earth is my new favourite show. This guy (andrew) is kellys' assistant. I'm not even a little fan of his style...gross, but his passion for it is respectful. This dude is such a personality that you can't help but be stoked on him (no homo).
PS>. I think that was the first time I have ever used "no homo" and it was actually in context...I think.

the only thing i will say about the oscars.
Actually, it's not something i'll say, more like copy a quote from my favourite online entertainment news blog. nymag.com
"Sadly, we did miss a James Cameron acceptance speech, but the King of the World was nearly promoted to God, thanks to his production supervisor, who told us to “remember the world we live in is just as amazing as the one we created for you.” Not “more amazing," mind you, just “as amazing.” Though, to be fair, it took God just one day to create the Earth, and Cameron more than ten years to create Pandora. Point: God."

skateboarding and suntans
For a brief moment this last weekend the weather was super nice. Went skateboarding at the ramp with colt. Even my wife had a good time...
This morning it's all gloomy and will most likely rain...or snow... :(

Spike Vs. Opening Ceremony
I recently made a list of companies I would like to work for. Opening Ceremony was one of them (ace hotel was another). This is a cool behind the scenes/bio of the store. Really informative and smart questions. I like the idea, of doing something awesome without knowing how to do anything.

Tomorrow's Tulips VS KXLU
Alex Knost is a great surfer and singer of the band Japanese Motors. This little side project is great stuff.
