I was, obviously, watching countless specials about Michael Jackson this last week and I remember someone talking about Billie jean and how it's recognized as "the best base line ever" and someone should sample it. I guess these "music experts" don't follow Old Dirty Bastard that closely. I do give them credit, the sample is a little re worked and I wouldn't have known if I hadn't read the liner notes for the credit. But for a side note, this performance is insane. I wonder what it would be like performing for 3 and a half minutes knowing you are about to drop the moonwalk for the first time.
