Best of 2008

I don't know about you but I love the end of the year "best of" lost. I don't know why I care, I agree with only a fraction of the lists. I always wonder who these people are who seam to be the voice of the entire nation and say Britney Spears has done it again. I would like to say I am such a voice but my voice is only so loud. I have very little credibility but I think I have an eye (or an ear) for awesome. I do speak to whoever will listen so here it is.

The hills recap

Last nights episode was rather interesting but in a boring way. It's like planning the get together of a lifetime and then feeling the "was that it?" afterward. (Actually I kinda feel like that after every episode) Anyway, the list of situations in this episode were:
-Whitney moving to NY "the city'
-Heidi and Spencer getting "married"
-Lauren crying or complaining about something.
With a set list like that, it was sure to be a good one. It was actually anti climactic and Whitney's goodbye went on way too long. The highlight was Justin's only line of the episode. When Spencer's sister was stressing to Audrina about how the two of them just disappeared without telling anyone (mostly her) Justin says "maybe we should put up signs." I talk about it but it's not as funny as how He says it in a sort of way too imply "who cares, stop stressing and get over it" It was exactly what I was thinking so maybe that's why I laughed.

birthday?...Anybody?

One of the bands I've been into for a while are Cut Copy and they will be in the states again next year for a few shows but no Salt Lake. The closest show is in Las Vegas on March 13 (happy b-day mom). Not really worth it to drive all that way to spend more money on one show. If this show was only on the same weekend, then it would be worth it.

so I've started "painting" a little. There is a story behind all of them, well not really a story, it's more of an explanation.

While getting ready for The amazing Race finale, we bumped into the end of this. luckily it only took a day to find it online. He is the only man who can pull off wearing pajamas in public. That does mean mr Playboy Hefner does not pull it off at all, he just looks creepy.

Turns out Blade 27 didn't do that well at the box office, so he (Mr. Snipes) now works at Costco.

Green card

After literally walking through a maze such as the one posted above, stacks and stacks of paper work and a few long lines. It is all over and I got my card in the mail over the weekend. It does have a little green on it so it wasn't too disappointing. Assuming it was all over, i had to sit in another room with a slew of not too clean individuals waiting, in a small room, to get a social security card. I guess i have to take back my previous statement of it being all over. Within 8-14 days I will get my other card and it will all be over. Exciting for me, not too much for all 3 of you that read this blog.

Not even this guy can get me out now
