Gabrielle and I went to the new Woody Allen film titled "Vicky Christina Barcelona" on Friday night and it was rad. The best thing about his last few movies (besides Scarlett) are that they take place in the greatest places. In this one he takes great advantage of Barcelona. They make the films very appealing in a strictly visual way. Now add a great story and great actors and you have one of the best films I've seen all year. Scarlett still remains a wonderful actress playing the "frazzled" women characters well. Check it out for sure.

I should change my name...
A friend of mine asked me if i was going to go to the Dew Tour this weekend. For those of you who don't know, the Dew Tour is a series of Skateboard, Moto Cross and BMX contest around the Unites States. They feature"the best" that each sport has to offer. Anyway...I told my buddy I was not going to go so he asked, "why not, aren't you a big time skater?" For those of you who know my skating abilities (especially lately) you are laughing at that comment due to the fact I am a far cry from a "big time" skater. I told him that the Dew Tour is one of the most hypocritical events of the whole year. A few months ago I was skateboarding outside the arena here in Salt Lake and the security guard came and told me that I had to leave because I was in other peoples' way... for the record the lot that the arena is on is huge and VERY unpopulated all the time. On my way out I was greeted by another guard telling me he was going to call the police... stunning.
Skateboarders are always told to leave because we are either in the way, on private property (the same property vagrants sleep on and where pedestrians wait for rides or eat lunch) or we are wrecking the ledge/stairs of whatever we are skating. So a few months ago "I" was in the way and "ruining" property but this weekend Mountain Dew is in town and they filled a full parking lot with dirt and completely blocked off 2 blocks of main streets next to that same arena. Interesting, me alone in the middle of a Wednesday is a bother but a thousand plus person crew for a whole weekend with dirt filled parking lots is cool. I guess I need to change my name to Mountain Dew then I can skateboard.

news
Like I kind of said yesterday, I started school again. I go on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:40-3:30. It's a long day but worth only going twice a week. This blog usually has negative views on things so I guess that makes me a negative person... you be the judge. So with all that said I'm posting a picture I took of some flowers, you can't get anymore positive than with flowers...right?

Walter Meego
Not sure if I have spoke about them before but they have one song that is radical. Wait I just learned today at school that "radical" is a teenager word and we should not use them if we want to be taken seriously. What if I say that the song is seriously radical?... now what?

OMG someone has a new Layout!
In an attempt to boost ratings for the blog. I have changed the layout, the motto has gone from "a place where first impressions are made twice" to "more OMG than gossip girl". I may have made this place a lot more tacky and broke some copyright laws but only time will tell. feel free to let me know if I'm taking a step in the right direction or if I'm even on the right road. Actually just feel free to leave any comment because I don't think any body comes here anyway.

Viva La endorsement
The next few weeks are TV addicts favorite time of the year. All the new seasons/series start. My wife has been counting down and has is written in both our planners that One Tree Hill started on Monday night. One thing i first noticed is that the first 2 songs in that show were Coldplay. It made the show a little more enjoyable for me... yes I like coldplay and no I'm not gay. In a related topic the new version of our favorite show 90210 started as well and what is the first song you hear? Yes It's Coldplay again. I just hope to hear Coldplay next week when we watch The Hills... Even after my previous rant about television I am just as hooked as the rest of you.
