"We had to tear down our basement walls but it's all done now and we're ready to claim the maximum amount,"

So my dad was interviewed (again), this time while shopping at Rona. This guy just doesn't stop. The picture is small but that's all they got.

Proud son moment.

ps. I promise that last post I made, will be the last Conan related one... for a while.

trax people

Usually during my frequent trips taking the Trax, i come across some pretty interesting people and some equally interesting gear choices. On Monday, however, it was a little different. This man had his gear fairly in check... it was at the library stop no less.
Well done old man.

R.I.P. ipod

I was on the train yesterday watching a movie thinking to myself "this ipod has lasted nearly 3 years". Today on the train "bummer my ipod screen is busted." A lot can happen in 24 hours.

my gear

Remember this photo?... well anyway, i said that after all my gear changes over the years I now dress the way my mom used to dress me back in the day. Below is the proof.

The Proof, There is at least a 17 year gap between these photos.

This is probably the most narcissistic post since the new layout.

ps. i found old CD's of pictures, so if you are lucky I'll post some bad gear choices by me... maybe not.

cutlery

This stuff is awesome. When you eat salad it will feel like gardening.

The Selby

The Selby is one of my favourite sites. I should have added that to my best of 2009, making a list of websites.... anyway. This new gallery they put up is awesome. I am especially jealous of this photo. This bookshelf looks inviting and it's the perfect size table for this space.

I kind of wish they did videos as well as photos... that would be interesting.

Worst news of the decade.

Middle aged women across america should be happy to hear this news. I'm not really suprissed, they have the same demographic as Oprah... that's a pretty "influential" group. Best of luck in 2010.

New Years in Winnipeg

Big delay time, I think this has been the longest I have gaped between posting. If you have noticed, I changed things up a bit. The title seams a lot more appropriate for the content. The colour is still black, not because I am a huge fan, but rather because it saves energy... every little bit helps, isn't that right Al Gore?

Anyway, back to me. I had a very odd moment last night. I was out for dinner for a friends birthday and not only was my blog discussed ( i don't think I brought it up) but the contents of my blog were the actual conversation. It was odd to hear people talking about what I had posted.

In the tradition of sharing what I think is awesome and not wanting to disappoint all my 3 followers, here are some polaROIDS from our recent trip to Canada.
