Pointlessly Productive
Went through a slew of old skate mags to help with Yoshs' new living room setup. It's a work in progress but so far so good.
If any body wants a HUGE stack of skate mags dating from 2000 until 2005 let me know. I'm willing to trade for a Tall Vanila Bean frappuccino from Starbucks. Sounds like a steal of a deal.

Not exclusive to Skateboarding
I'm in Utah visiting family and I guess Burton Snowboards had family there the same weekend. Actually it was just a premier for there newest video "Thanks In Advance". I won't write a review but it was a good time but the video was rather lame.
The venue
A relatively mellow crowd
Some of the team
always a product toss

road trip vet
I have always had a love hate relationship with road trips. As a kid my whole family would drive from Winnipeg to Alberta every year to visit my Grandparents and more or less the rest of my extended family. For one reason or another i could never pack enough things to do for the long boreing 14 hour drive. i would bring crayons, markers, coloring books, regular books, travel games, Game boy etc. Nomatter what i had I would always be "soooo bored".
Later on I started to not bring as many things. My list would be a camera, skate mags and some paper with markers. I would still get bored. Skate Trips are a whole other story. I would bring next to nothing that would keep my mind off the length of the trip and I would somehow manage to never get bored (Even with a nine hour detour).
I am right now on the 2nd stage of the longest road trip i've done. This time all I've brought is a computer, ipod and drawing supplys. We've clocked in 23 hours so far and i am yet to be bored and i have only turned on my computer once to watch a movie. I think i may finaly have figured it out.
if you've read this much i'm sorry. this is the first entry in my years of blogging that i don't think applies to anyone but myself. sorry, i wish i could repay time.
ps. does anyone else watch Americas Next Top Model?
oh yeah check this out, pretty rad stuff http://www.gatoheroi.com

Colins new skate shop
This was last weekend but I'm still trying to play catch up with the blog. Here's some pictures from the Garage NOT Yard Sale at Colin house.
hard at lurk
We thought we would sell more if we rocked the gear we were trying to get rid of.
Got bored and started a heated game of Logtoss
Everyone came out on top in the end

Is it still "cool" to skateboard?
This is the most hype skateboard magazine cover i've seen in a while. I know it's probly a huge gap or something, but all they show on the front is a little 5 or so stair rail.
When the "best" tricks are on the covers of magazines and at the end of videos (i have never realy bothered with the whole enders thing, i usually just watch my favorite parts) it's cool to at first glance anyway see something normal on the cover.
I'm not sure if i'm just over skateboarding or what, but this cover actully got me excited again.
